Camp Mountaindale is a 50-acre recreational camp located near North Plains, Oregon. MBA provided architectural design for Marilyn’s Place, the camp’s central lodge. Designed as a retreat for the Columbia River Council of the Girl Scouts, Marilyn’s Place provides an exciting central focus for Camp Mountaindale activities. The building consists of a large central hall surrounded by an open bunk mezzanine with a capacity for 72 campers. Within the lodge building, troops are accommodated in comfort with radiant floor heating and ample bathroom and kitchen facilities.
