The main design goal of this existing 2,800 square foot, two story Manzanita, Oregon home was to maximize views up and down the coast from both levels. The shared living spaces, the kitchen, dining room and living room, are placed on the main level and incorporate corner windows with window seats to enhance the views. The master suite and the artist/writer’s studio are placed on the upper level’s ocean side, while the rest of the upper floor is devoted to a guest/media space, guest room, and recording studio.
