This 3,193 square foot Portland home was originally designed by architect John Storrs in 1961 and was carefully updated by Merryman Barnes Architects with the original architect’s vision in mind. The design opens the kitchen space up to the shared living spaces, moves the laundry room to the lower level, and reorganizes the master suite’s closet and bathroom space to create an elegant combination of rooms.
